ON ROUTE: there are a couple of steep'ish climbs and one steep decent and just three stiles. Underfoot the paths are generally good.

WEATHER: keep an eye on the weather in the days leading-up to the walk, waterproof jacket and trousers are recommended.

Join our local guide David of the Llangollen Museum local historian and guide book writer.
David will share with you fascinating facts about the town, the landscape and the people.
We meet at the Courtyard Café off Castle Street where you can enjoy a tea, coffee and snacks before the off.
We'll start the walk with the steep'ish climb to Castell Dinas Bran, the ruined medieval castle which guards the Dee Valley.
We'll then take you high above on the limestone cliffs for some really BIG, BIG views. We'll share with you our favourite and possibly the most spectacular section of the Offa's Dyke Path then head back with views of Valle Crucis Abbey ruins.
The walk will finish at the Canal Wharf Café between 4.00 and 4.30pm.
