We must leave at 10.15 and walk to the Railway Station to catch the 11.00 Steam Train.
You'll have a 20 minute nostalgic steam train ride, so sit-back and watch the beautiful Dee Valley and river go by.
This walk takes us along the beautiful River Dee valley using some sections of the newly rerouted Dee Valley Way.
We start with a couple of steep'ish climbs but not too bad, there are 8 stiles on the way back to Llangollen. The route takes a lovely meander through hill farms with spring lambs in the fields and views of the Llantysilio Mountains and River Dee.
We plan to stop at the Sun Inn at Rhewl (historic drovers Inn) for a break however, do bring food, snacks and drink.
We'll visit the Horseshoe Falls and the walk will finish back in Llangollen between 4.00 and 4.30pm.
