WEATHER: keep an eye on the weather in the days leading-up to the walk, a waterproof jacket and trousers are recommended

This walk starts with a steep-ish climb and a few stiles before the 5 UGLY SISTERS of the Llantysillio Ridge.
The Sisters do offer a great challenge as they are steep however, they also offer great views of the Berwyn Mountains, River Dee Valley, Clwydian Range and Snowdonia.
There is café at the halfway point but do bring enough food and drink for the walk - then, the route is relatively easy back to Llangollen.
NOTE: walking poles are strongly recommended for the climbs and descends.
Contact Mike (via the contact page) your walk leader as he has spare LEKI poles he can lend you.
We aim to finish back in Llangollen at 4-4.30pm.
